A Message from the Principal...

I am delighted to introduce you to St Joseph’s Catholic School and hope you find our website a useful representation of our school.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming school with a strongly embedded values and virtues programme. We are hugely focussed on learning and raising student achievement within an environment that embodies a truly special character- Catholic Character. Our Catholic character is embedded in all that we do when providing an education of excellence for your child.

We work hard to ensure we know our children well, connect with our families and work together to help children reach their very best as learners.

Our teachers are dedicated and competent professionals who have a sound understanding of the specific needs of our young people. They have a reputation for being devoted to student success in a caring, stimulating, supportive and innovative atmosphere.

We have a group of dedicated support staff who work alongside our teaching staff to provide extra support for our students. Our programmes of work and extra-curricular opportunities aim to stimulate and challenge all students.

At St Joseph’s School,  our students have maximum opportunities to succeed in Leadership, Sport, The Arts and Academic Pursuits. There are opportunities for all students to pursue their passions and interests across many contexts.

We want St Joseph’s Catholic School to be a place where our children “Learn and grow to be the hands and voice of Jesus.”

I invite you to be part of our St Joseph’s school community and parish family and look forward to working alongside you to provide the best possible education for your child during these important primary years of schooling.

If you would like to learn more about what we can offer you and your child at St Joseph’s School please make a time to come and talk to me about what your expectations are for your child’s education.
