ST JOSEPH'S SPORTS CLUB (SJSC):

BACKGROUND:

This Club was established in March 2007.

The SJSC is an umbrella group covering extra curricular sports within St Joseph's School i.e. Miniball, Basketball, Netball, Teeball and Rippa Rugby. Our aim is that all codes are organised in a consistent manner.

Codes are self managed but finances are centrally managed for transparency.

PURPOSE:

To oversee the:

1) Code of Conduct/Procedures - including the Special Character of our school

2) Support/Structure

3) Resources

With the support of Sport Mid Canterbury the committee produced a Code of Conduct.  This was presented to the Board of Trustees.  Shortly thereafter our Constitution was finalised.
