Term 2: Mrs A's Music

Every Monday this term, as part of our learning in the Arts, we are having music tuition! Years 5-8 started their music sessions in Week 1 and will finish in Week 5. Years 0-4 are having their sessions on the Mondays of Weeks 6 - 10. These are being run by Mrs A's music school and her wonderful tutors. So far the students have been having lots of fun! Take a look at the video below to check it out

Looking back at Term 1: St Joseph's Day Pedalmania - such fun!!!

Looking back at Term 1: Kahukura Oma - Colour Run

It is with grateful hearts that we extend an enormous thank you to our wider school community for helping us to raise...

$10,000.00!!!

This huge amount of money was raised through children gaining sponsorship to complete a Oma Kahukura ( Rainbow run) on St Joseph’s day - March 2021. The children had a fantastic time and we would sincerely like to thank all the parents who came to help, the many people who came to support the children on the day and of course the wonderful number of sponsors who supported the cause.

A little about the Cause !

Father Huynh,  in our own parish,  is on a mission. He is wanting to support his home country by raising funds which will go towards building water purifying plants for needy communities in Vietnam. At the present time many of these communities struggle to obtain clean water - something that we all just take for granted !
For $6000.00 dollars, a community in Vietnam can build an effective  water purifying plant that will service the whole community. We are excited to think that we can help build nearly two of these purification systems with the money that we have raised.
