School Disco

On the 13 of September St Josephs school held a disco. The night was filled with excitement from students and parents. The disco had lots of fun party games such as spin the bottle, best dressed, best dance moves, dance battle, and many more. thank you to all the students and parents who helped and a big thank you to the home and school committee; it was a great night.

Caritas Challenge

This year in St-Joseph’s school our Caritas challenge was held on the 3rd of July. This included living like south Sudanese people and eating like them. The day started with Mrs Reid talking about her experiences. Next we did writing, reading, & maths from a small sheet of paper because that's what the South Sudanese people get taught. After we had a morning tea. For morning tea we got feed foods like carrot sticks, crackers, & apples. The day went on like so. We did this to show our understanding of the South Sudan people and what they went through.

Cross Country

Kai pai to everyone at cross country this year and a big thank you to Wakanui School for coming along and running with us. This year cross country was held at the Patoan's farm at Wakanui. It was on the 22nd of May. The race was 3 kilometers for yr 7/8, 2 kilometers for yr 5/6, and 1/2 for everyone else. Lots of our St-Joseph's students were placed in the cross country. A big thank you to Mrs Reid and all the teachers help we could not of had this day without you!

Liam Nolan

Liam Nolan made a Ferris wheel for the class book: Charlotte's Web. He made this at home in three hours! It can smoothly spin around and it has some awesome wooden seats the can sway with the rotation of the Ferris wheel!

Senior Students

On the first of March 1st of 2019 St - Joseph's had top teams. They had 2 water courses and 8 fun, muddy courses. Thank You to Sarah for organizing top teams and a big thank you to all the parents that came along and helped make sure things run smoothly.

Kea 4

tzIn Kea 4 we have made artwork for our topic;  it is called The Many Faces of Us.
We cut out the first letter of our name to represent us, then we took pictures of ourselves and re-coloured it to make it pop-art! Lastly we coloured the background to make it stand out! We based our art on the work of Andy Warhol.
